Melecs receives Supplier Award from customer Schaeffler

In Herzogenaurach, 23 suppliers were honored with the Schaeffler Supplier Awards for outstanding performance – Melecs was also honored. In front of over 450 guests, Georg F. W. Schaeffler, family shareholder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Schaeffler AG, and Klaus Rosenfeld, CEO of Schaeffler AG, presented the awards in the five categories of Innovation, Sustainability, Value, Quality and Supply Chain.

Andreas Schick, Chief Production, Supply Chain Management and Purchasing Officer at Schaeffler AG, emphasized: “Schaeffler has always stood for a close and cooperative network with its suppliers. Especially in the current global challenges, these relationships are proving to be the basis for the company’s long-term success.”

Melecs was awarded the Schaeffler Supplier Award in the “Value” category, whereby Schaeffler honors strong supplier relationships that are of global importance for the Motion Technology Company’s competitiveness. Melecs is very proud of this success and motivated to further develop this strong customer relationship.
